I finally planted my fennel................
The cardinals have built a nest in the honeysuckle........

And the "Papa" rose, planted in memory of my father, is in full, gorgeous bloom......

The Garden Is Happy

The rosebush has decided.....
And the honeysuckle has decided.......
And the river birch has decided....that it is actually spring right here in my garden. And right on cue, the hummingbirds appeared yesterday.

Newest Art Piece: "My Sugar"

My newest creation is "My Sugar", an assemblage collage on a beautiful old floral plate with a scalloped edge that I found at a "new" thrift store for me.
The photograph was sent to me by a wonderful blog friend. I don't know who this sweet little girl is but I just love her and her dog.

I was looking through my art portfolio today and found this collage on canvas that I created three years ago.
I really love it and can't decide if I want to sell it or keep it for my one-woman-show when I'm ninety.
