A Trip to IKEA
We took a field trip to IKEA last Saturday and among the wonderful things we brought home was this kitchen island. I have wanted a chopping block island since we moved into this house and now I finally have it. I can't wait to start chopping on it. After seeing Julie and Julia this past weekend, I will act like Julia Child and chop onions until I am an expert.

It's beautiful and I've seen them in Ikea (don't you just love that store??) but I hope your island doesn't end up like ours and just become a repository for everyones junk when they come into the house!!
Oh, that's a great chopping board. It looks great in that wonderful kitchen you have. Everyone I know or almost everyone has seen the Julia movie and I still have yet to see it. I will!! Enjoy your board and chop away.
